Vinay Reddy Tatikonda is an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer currently working at Vedanta Resources. He has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, where he gained a solid foundation in engineering principles. Vinay has also completed his 11-12 education from Ramaiah Institute/Vijayaratna and his high school from Sri Gurudatta High School. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Vinay has worked on Heavy Earth Moving Machines in the maintenance department, where he implemented his engineering knowledge and learned technical skills on the floor. He managed a team of around 40 people, most of whom were older than him, and worked on projects such as tyre life monitoring system and kaizens, which helped in cost-cutting and improved safety measures. He also learned Hindi and Kannada to communicate better with the workforce. Prior to his current role, Vinay worked as an Associate Manager in Content Development at BYJU'S, where he scaled up and managed content teams and operations in many asynchronous and synchronous learning projects. He also worked as a Summer Trainee at Railway Carriage Maintenance Workshop, South Central Railways, Secunderabad, where he gained valuable experience in understanding maintenance schedules of different machines in the workshop, inspecting components for defects using NDT techniques, and making calculated decisions on whether to continue, repair or scrap the component. Vinay's tech stack includes testing, and he has a proven track record of scaling up and managing teams and operations. He is a quick learner and has a passion for learning new things. He is a team player who is always willing to go the extra mile to achieve his goals.
